Nikon’s Coolshot 50i Laser Rangefinder is a great entry-level rangefinder to help you measure the distance between yourself and the faraway object or subject. Ideal for use when playing golf, this rangefinder uses the power of laser technology to calculate the distance of the flagstick and so forth.
The Coolshot 50i Laser Rangefinder has a measurement range of 5 – 1,090m and boasts high-quality 6x magnification with multilayer coating for bright and clear images. The rangefinder’s red internal OLED display makes it simple to view in any situation. When the rangefinder ‘locks’ onto your subject a red ‘locked on’ sign appears and there’s a brief vibration of the unit. The distance also appears on the viewfinder.
There are two measurement display modes available: Actual Distance Mode and the Golf Mode. The Golf Mode displays the slope adjusted distance which is a great guide to show how far you should hit the ball when golfing on an uphill or downhill course. Easily switch between the Actual Distance Mode and Golf Mode with a touch of a button.
Built with a magnet on the side, the Nikon Coolshot 50i easily attaches to your golf cart or golf club for convenient portability when you have nowhere else to put it. For ease of use, the rangefinder features long eye relief which makes it more comfortable for glass wearers while the body’s lightweight design with rainproof (IPX4) properties and wide -10°C to 50°C temperature range means it can be used in many conditions.
