the Eye Q® 870 Auto 4-Slice Toaster – Black Truffle

Elegantly make the most of mornings with Breville’s Eye Q® 870 Auto 4-Slice Toaster. This smart toaster eliminates the guesswork from achieving perfect toast through its advanced Eye Q® Optic Sensors powered by Sensability™ Technology. Featuring 7 precise shade settings and intelligent automation, this premium toaster delivers consistent, cafe-quality results whether you're toasting fresh bread, frozen slices, or artisanal sourdough. Its sophisticated design combines cutting-edge technology with effortless operation, making it an essential upgrade.

Powering this Breville toaster is the Eye Q® Optic Sensor system, which scans your toast 10 times per second to monitor browning in real-time. This intelligent technology automatically adjusts for frozen bread without requiring a separate defrost function, while the specialised Sourdough Mode expertly handles the unique challenges of thick crusts and uneven textures. The 7-shade Toast Shade Selector provides precise control from light golden to deep brown, ensuring your preferred doneness every time. For ultimate flexibility, Timer Mode allows traditional time-based toasting when warming pastries or when you prefer manual control.

Using this toaster couldn't be easier with the one-touch automatic lowering system that activates the moment you place bread in the slots. The toast rises automatically when your selected shade is achieved, creating a completely hands-free experience from start to finish. The thoughtfully designed Easy Clean body features a non-stick ceramic coated top that prevents baked-on crumbs, while the clearway cavity channels debris directly into the removable crumb tray. Additional convenience comes through the Crumpet Mode for optimal heating of English muffins and the "A Bit More" function for quick touch-ups without resetting the cycle.

Combining professional-grade performance with everyday reliability, this toaster will elevate all toasting experiences. Whether you’re making a quick weekday breakfast or hosting weekend brunch, this intelligent toaster ensures consistently perfect results while adding a touch of sophistication to your routine.
