Tefal’s OptiGrill+ XL Grill is not your typical grill. This large, multipurpose grill can offer more ways to cook your favourite foods. The grill’s non-stick aluminium plates means you don’t have to use as much oil as you usually would. Enjoy cooking a variety of foods with 9 cooking programs which include: Burger, Red meat, Sandwich, Sausage, Fish, Poultry, Seafood, Bacon, Pork plus a frozen food mode. There’s also a manual mode with 4 adjustable temperature levels which allows you to cook whatever you want and can even be used for fruits and vegetables.
If you’re not sure how long it needs to take to cook a certain food, just use the clever Automatic Sensor Cooking mode. Automatic Sensor Cooking automatically adjusts the temperature for the size and thickness of your food within the given programs, so if you selected red meat then the grill will cook it according to its red meat specifications.
This unique grill has a colour indicator light system to let you know at what stage the grill and your food is at. For example, purple for preheating, blue then green at the start of cooking, yellow for when the food is rare, orange for medium and red for well-done. The bottom drip tray collects oil and fat and is removable, alongside the non-stick cooking plates. Both the drip tray and plates are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
