What’s a Bluicer?
Fresh and fuss-free, Breville’s Bluicers lets you juice, blend and bluice with just the one appliance. The Bluicer is a hybrid blender and juicer which features one base, so you can easily swap between your choice of processing, in a compact space-saving design.

How does the bluicer work?
The bluicer features 3 processing functions, so you can choose to either blend, juice or bluice your way to a satisfying treat. Using the 1.5L BPA-free blending jug, effortlessly blend your favourite ingredients to create a smoothie or thick shake. The juicing nozzle enables simple juicing of fruits and vegetables like oranges and carrots straight to your drinking glass. Last of all, the bluicing method lets you extract fresh juice into the blender jug, before blending your way to delicious creations such as frappes and cocktails.

What types of Bluicers are there?
Breville have released two Bluicer models: the 3X Bluicer Juicer Pro and the 3X Bluicer. Both Bluicer models have been designed to save you space as they enable juicing and blending from the one base. Breville’s Bluicers feature a minimum 1000W motor alongside Cold Spin Technology® and an extra-large 88mm feed chute that can take whole fruits and vegetables.

What’s the difference between the 3X Bluicer Juicer Pro and the 3X Bluicer?
The 3X Bluicer Juicer Pro and the 3X Bluicer lets you juice, blend and bluice from the one appliance. Notably, the main differences between the two are their power, number of speed settings, programs and their size.

Larger in size and stronger in power, the 3X Bluicer Juicer Pro boasts an incredible 1350W motor, 10 speed settings and 5x one-touch programs, which include Green Smoothie, Smoothies, Frozen Cocktail, Pulse/Ice Crush and Auto Clean. If you love to indulge in all types of juices and smoothies and often work with fibrous greens, the 3X Bluicer Juicer Pro is ideal.

Smaller in size with power to match, the 3X Bluicer features a 1000W motor with 5 speed settings and 4x one-touch programs which include Smoothies, Frozen Cocktail, Pulse/Ice Crush and Auto Clean. Blending

Breakfast Smoothie
Prep: 10 Minutes
Makes 1.5L
Serves 4

Ingredients:

• 60g oat bran
• 2 tablespoons chia seeds
• 8 fresh medjool dates, pitted
• 2 bananas, halved
• 800ml chilled unsweetened almond milk
• 200g Greek yoghurt
• 1 ½ tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Method:

1. Place ingredients into blender jug and secure lid.
2. Press the SMOOTHIE function button and blend until program finishes.

Juicing

Beet The Blues
Prep: 10 Minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:

• 250g blueberries
• 250g (approx. 2) medium pears, quartered and cored
• 100g (approx. 5) ice cubes
• 45g (approx. ½) peeled lemon
• 300g (approx. 2) zucchini, top removed
• 220g (approx. 2) medium beetroots, stalk trimmed

Method:

1. Add blueberries, pears and ice cubes into blender jug and attach to juicer spout.
2. Turn variable speed dial to Speed 1 and juice lemon.
3. Increase to speed 6 and juice zucchini.
4. Increase to speed 10 and juice beetroots.
5. Remove juicer attachment and place blender jug onto motor base. Close lid securely.
6. Select Green Smoothie Program.
7. Serve immediately.

Bluicing

Vodka Pearadise
Prep: 10 Minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:

• 100ml vodka
• 6g (approx. 20) mint leaves
• 100g (approx. 5) ice cubes
• 95g (approx. 1) whole peeled lemon, pith removed
• 20g piece fresh ginger
• 1kg (approx. 8) ripe medium Packham pears
• 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon to garnish

Method:

1. Add vodka, mint leaves, and ice cubes, into the blender jug and attach to juicer spout.
2. Turn variable speed dial to Speed 1 and juice lemon.
3. Increase speed to 8 and juice ginger and pears.
4. Remove juicer attachment and place blender jug onto motor base. Close lid securely.
5. Select Frozen Cocktail program.
6. Pour mix into tall glasses and serve topped with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.

Are Bluicers easy to maintain?
The Bluicers have an auto clean function which effortlessly removes residue from the blending jug. Bluicer parts can also be hand washed and selected parts are dishwasher safe, so you can just rinse, place it in the dishwasher and let it be washed with the rest of your dishes.
