The EOS R3 can record oversampled 4K video, meaning it can record using higher sensor (e.g. 6K) and then scale it back down to 4K quality for beautiful scenes of movement.

The Canon EOS R3 features a vertical grip that can be harnessed to shoot portraits and other scenes in a vertical fashion. Shoot for longer with the high-capacity LP-E19 battery, which is the same as the one in the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR, making sharing batteries between the two, simple. The EOS R3 also has dual card slots for recording on SD or CFexpress memory cards. For greater flexibility, the EOS R3 has an accessory shoe to fit a range of accessories when required, such as a microphone or speedlite transmitter.
