Electric Fireplaces: Faster and Safer

Without an open flame or the need for woodfire burning, Dimplex’s collection of electric fireplaces are safer and cleaner than gas or wood-fired fireplaces.

Within minutes, a Dimplex electric fireplace quickly lights up and provides a gentle warmth that will deliver home comfort. Unlike gas or wood-fired fireplaces, electric models don’t have a real live fire or burning logs, so there’s no combustion and with that no burning embers that can be introduced into your space.

Dimplex electric fireplaces also don’t produce Carbon Monoxide compared to gas or wood-fire fireplaces. Without the presence of Carbon Monoxide, there’s no need to worry about accidental leaks into your home and it’s considerably safer too.

Electric Fireplaces: Eco-Friendly

Dimplex electric fireplaces operate with two different types of flame effects, Optiflame® and Revillusion, outlined below:

• Optiflame®: uses efficient LED lights, so that the Optiflame® electric flame effect is created from the centre of the log fuel fire bed, with enhanced depth to display a life-like realistic glow.

• Revillusion: bright flickering lights are the main feature with life-sized logs in the centre of the fireplace. Revillusion flames’ colour and intensity can be adjusted via the remote control to help users set the mood and match the room’s lighting and style.
