What is QNED MiniLED TV technology?
Unique to LG, QNED MiniLED technology combines three TV technologies, they include: Quantum Dot technology + NanoCell technology + Mini LEDs.
All three components are combined in the TV’s panel, and because Mini LEDs are much smaller than traditional LEDs, there are consequently more of them in the panel. An LG QNED MiniLED TV is backlit with up to 30,000 mini-LEDs.
What does QNED MiniLED TV technology do?
As the three TV technologies blend with each other, the visual display power is greatly increased. Up to 30,000 mini-LEDs can power more of the local dimming zones, producing vibrant colours and a vivid display of images.
What are the benefits of QNED MiniLED TV technology?
As the technologies combine, an LG QNED MiniLED TV creates a kaleidoscope of colours that’s so immersive, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of the action. Dolby Vision IQ optimises images while Dolby Atmos provides rich, room-filling audio. Watch movies the way the director intended with the Filmmaker Mode™ which turns off motion smoothing, eliminating the jolting that would otherwise show.
Gaming
If gaming is your idea of relaxing, QNED MiniLED TVs will delight with its array of gaming-friendly features. Game Optimiser mode delivers smooth and realistic gaming visuals and lets you customise settings to suit the way you play with its various presets. Some of these include First Person Shooter (FPS) and Role Playing Game (RPG). Seamless connections such as ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) reduces input lag so you can level up to beat your opponents.
Sports
Stay updated with all your favourite games and teams thanks to the Sports Alert feature which provides notifications on a range of sports like the NBA, NFL, Rugby Union and Premier League. See the match times, scores and more on the TV even when you’re watching something else!
