School’s out and the holidays are back! When the kids are done with their activities or they’re crying out with hunger, we’ve got you covered. MeatLover Pizza Garlic Bread Jaffles
Prep Time: 7 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 8 slices ham
  • 8 tablespoons shredded tasty cheese
  • Drizzle of BBQ sauce
  • Optional – 4 slices of onion, 4 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum, chopped parsley to garnish

Method:

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic and mix until well blended.
  2. Butter the sliced bread with the garlic butter.
  3. Butter side facing down, spoon pizza sauce onto the bread and spread out evenly. Top with pepperoni slices, ham, onion and capsicum (if using), a drizzle of BBQ sauce and shredded tasty cheese. Top with the remaining slice of bread, butter side facing upwards.
  4. Place sandwiches into the Sunbeam 4-Slice Turbo Crunch Toastie Maker and close the lid. Cook until golden brown, 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley (if using). Serve and enjoy!

Salted Caramel Apple Pie Jaffles with Cinnamon Butter
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon butter (for the caramel)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup thickened cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 400g tinned cooked apple
  • 8 slices bread
  • 100g butter, softened
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method:

  1. Combine butter, brown sugar, cream and salt in a medium saucepan and place over a medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes, or until bubbling and thickened.
  2. Add tinned apple to the caramel sauce and stir to combine. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. While the caramel sauce is cooling, butter all 8 slices of bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Place 4 slices of bread, (cinnamon butter side down) into the Sunbeam 4-Slice Turbo Crunch Toastie Maker. Divide apple caramel filling equally between the sliced bread before covering with the remaining slices of bread, cinnamon butter side up.
  5. Close the lid of the Sunbeam Toastie Maker and cook, 4-5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

CAUTION: Please allow caramel apple pie jaffles to cool before eating as the filling is extremely hot!!!

Air Fry & Steam Cooking with Sunbeam’s SteamFry Air Fryer & Steam

Teriyaki Chicken Bao Buns
Serves 1
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 120g Chicken Breast
  • 15g Teriyaki Sauce
  • 20g Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 50g Greek Yoghurt
  • 50g White Self Raising Flour
  • 60g Cucumber
  • 15g Spring Onion
  • 30g Red Cabbage
  • 20g Reduced Fat Mayonnaise

Method:

  1. To make the bao buns, mix flour and yoghurt together in a bowl. Turn onto a floured work surface and knead until smooth. Cut dough into 3 pieces and roll each piece into a circle. Fold into a half moon shape and place in the Sunbeam SteamFry Air Fryer + Steam basket lined with baking paper. Set the Sunbeam SteamFry to 100ºC on STEAM setting. Cook for 8 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool.
  2. Meanwhile, coat chicken breast in Teriyaki sauce and then breadcrumbs. Place in the Sunbeam SteamFry basket and set to STEAM FRY setting on 180ºC. Cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Slice chicken and vegetables and divide between the bao buns with mayonnaise.
  4. Multiple the ingredients to serve more with family and friends.

Dinner done all at once

Basket 1: BBQ Pork Belly
Serves 4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 19 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 thick slices pork belly
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce

Method:

  1. Set your Tefal Air Fryer to 200˚C and preheat for 15 minutes.
  2. Peel and chop the garlic. Mix the garlic, paprika and barbecue sauce in a bowl.
  3. Season the meat with salt and pepper and place it in the basket of your Tefal Air Fryer for 2 minutes at 200°C. Glaze the meat with the mixture. Continue cooking for 2 more minutes and serve.

Serve Pork Belly with Maple Syrup-Roasted Root Vegetables (recipe below)

Basket 2: Maple Syrup-Roasted Root Vegetables
Serves 4
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 carrots
  • 4 parsnips
  • 350g sweet potatoes
  • 50 ml maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 orange
  • 20ml cider vinegar
  • 30 ml sunflower oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method:

  1. Peel the vegetables and chop the carrots into thick slices, and the parsnips and sweet potato into 2 cm cubes.
  2. Place the vegetables in the basket. Drizzle with about 1 tbsp of olive oil and sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper. Set to 200°C and preheat for 15 minutes. Cook for 30 minutes, mixing halfway through the cooking time.
  3. In the meantime, mix the remaining oil with the vinegar, grated zest of half the orange, maple syrup and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Once the vegetables are cooked, drizzle the dressing over them and serve.
